Residents urged to comment on ward boundary proposals

Residents are being urged to have their say on proposals for North Ayrshire’s ward boundaries.

The Local Government Boundary Commission for Scotland has today (Thursday) published its proposals for the ward boundaries of each of Scotland’s 32 Councils.

Residents can view the proposals at or at the one of the many public display points throughout North Ayrshire.

These are located at:

Arran Local Office, Lamlash

Saltcoats Library, Springvale Place

Largs Local Office, Brooksby Medical and Resource Centre

Kilbirnie Library, Avils Place

North Ayrshire Council Headquarters, Cunninghame House, and

Kilwinning Library, St Winnings Lane

Comments on the proposals can be submitted at or by email to Alternatively, comments can be made in writing and sent to Thistle House, 91 Haymarket Terrace, Edinburgh, EH12 5HD.

All comments should be submitted by Thursday, October 22, and will be published for public scrutiny.
